Reah Valente Partners with NumaNation to Release New Music Videos

Houston, TX (Billboard Publicity Wire) June 7, 2007 -- International Rock Artist Reah Valente kicks off the release of her new music video series with a video spoof contest hosted by NumaNation. The contest will launch on June 8th and will end on July 31st. To enter the contest, fans can listen to Reah's songs on her official Myspace (www.myspace.com/reahvalente) before making their music videos. Contestants will be asked to make a video spoof of one of Reah's songs via webcam, digital camera or their mobile phone. The grand prizewinner will be announced on August 1st and will receive a 40GB i-Pod or $200 worth of i-Tunes downloads.

Valente's videos, directed by award-winning director David Brodsky, will be featured on the new online music video portal NumaNation (www.numanation.com). NumaNation is a community of users that share the love of music and video. These videos contain lip-synching, dancing, miming, and many other forms of artistic expression.

"We're extremely excited about Reah, she's an incredibly talented musician and we're so proud to feature her on our site," said Dietrich Chen, Co-founder of NumaNation. "Our video contest will bring her fans closer together and give them a chance to express their creativity."

Shot over two days in Manhattan, "Beautiful Disaster" depicts the steaminess and passion associated with falling in love intertwined with scenes of the gorgeous Valente singing on her bed. Brodsky consciously avoided a typical master shot of Reah's performance and chose to maintain a certain tension by staying with closer shots.

"The entire crew was incredible! It was a great experience and I was truly flattered by the dedication of everyone involved in my project," said Reah. "I can't wait to see the videos my fans create!"

"Beautiful Disaster" is one of four videos from Reah's latest album "My Way Back Home." Brodsky also shot and directed "Coisa Linda," "You're So Special," and "My Way Back Home."

Reah was discovered in 2006 by platinum hip-hop producer Red Spyda,
(50-cent, Eminem, Macy Gray), who introduced Reah to legendary producers Paul Fox and Dave Cobb. This dynamic duo is famous for working with female vocalists (Bjork, Natalie Merchant) and creating beautiful instrumentation (Shooter Jennings, 10,000 Maniacs, Sugarcubes).

Fox and Cobb worked with Reah to create a tight, simple yet powerful, rock album that highlights her distinct and beautiful voice and her incredible ability to compose songs with remarkable hooks.
